As part of a fundamental IT realignment, RIMERIT has replaced its existing on-premise infrastructure with a modern cloud solution, with the goal of optimizing processes and sustainably reducing operating costs. The result is a modern „craftsman IT“ with a clear strategy, automated device installation via Windows Autopilot, and central management of over 250 workstations through Intune.
Thanks to Azure Virtual Desktop, the ERP software can be used location-independently. In-house IT has been strengthened, expertise has been built up, and specialized software has been packaged. A well-thought-out network and cost concept, along with the introduction of Kyocera Cloud Print & Scan, complete the solution. RIMERIT acts as an exclusive partner for services and trade in the IT sector – holistic, future-proof, and customer-oriented.

Medisana GmbH, a medium-sized company in the medical and wellness products sector, faced the challenge of modernizing its evolved IT landscape while simultaneously meeting regulatory requirements for data residency. The existing Microsoft 365 tenant was not hosted in a European region, which posed increasing compliance, data protection, and governance risks.
The RIMERIT team planned and executed a highly complex migration from a non-European Microsoft 365 tenant to a European Microsoft Cloud region to meet data privacy and data sovereignty requirements. Within the scope of the project, the following was performed:
● Over 8 TB of SharePoint data structured, validated, and securely transferred
● Migrated approx. 500 Exchange objects (mailboxes, distribution lists, resources, rules, etc.)
Through a carefully planned coexistence phase, detailed migration waves, and transparent communication, business operations could continue without noticeable interruptions.
To further secure its IT environment, RIMERIT implemented two-factor authentication via RADIUS. This measure particularly enhanced the security of VPN and infrastructure access while complying with modern compliance and security best practices – with high user acceptance.
